About the Role and Your Responsibilities To Häckebergaskolan and Genarps School in the beautiful natural setting of Genarp, we are now seeking two engaged and development-oriented assistant principals. As an assistant principal, you will have your own area of responsibility where you lead and develop operations in accordance with school law. You will work based on the delegations and areas of responsibility assigned by the principal and become an important force in the school's pedagogical and organizational development. In your role you are expected to: Be part of the principal's management team and assist the principal in systematically and continuously planning, following up, evaluating, and developing the schools' and after-school centers' operations. Take responsibility for budget and results as well as personnel and work environment matters. Through leadership and coordination in daily operations, create conditions for a learning environment where teaching, learning, and care provide each student with the conditions to develop and reach their full potential. Create conditions for each employee to receive the support and leadership needed in daily operations to fulfill their duties with high quality. Create conditions to develop pedagogical quality and ensure that employees are well-grounded in research related to their profession and implement this in their practice. Create security, academic focus, and a good work environment for both students and staff. We Are Looking for You We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with experience in pedagogical work in primary and secondary school. You are well familiar with the school's governing documents and have good knowledge of grading and assessment, as well as good experience working with students in need of special support. We would appreciate if you have several years of experience as an assistant principal in primary and secondary school, and it is also a merit if you have completed or begun the national principal's education. We are looking for you who are a confident and positive leader with a strong commitment to students, employees, and the school. As an assistant principal, you need to have good leadership skills and be both structured and flexible in your working approach. With your joy, trust, stability, and clarity, you create security for both students and employees. As a person, you are analytical, reflective, and have a holistic perspective on what promotes student learning and development. You have a good ability to analyze data and results to develop the schools and can translate statistics into practical reality. Good communication skills in both speech and writing are a requirement, as is the ability to translate complex analyses into simple and clear language. You have the courage to view operations from a critical perspective when needed and have a solution-focused approach that allows you to prioritize in relation to changing conditions. You work to create good relationships at all levels and have excellent collaboration skills as school development is driven forward through teamwork. You can reach here by bus or car. The schools have approximately 190 and 290 students respectively. We have great expertise in our staff, a high proportion of certified and qualified teachers, and a good work climate where work for students and employees is characterized by a desire to learn, forward-thinking, and participation.
