JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to lead development during a time of change with a clear student focus and together with committed colleagues? Then this might be an assignment for you. We are seeking an assistant principal for two F-6 schools, Bjäre School and Östra Karup School, where each school is led by a principal. The role is shared between the schools and the assignment is shaped and coordinated in close collaboration with each principal to create equity and quality in the operations. Your assignment: As assistant principal, you are an important part of the schools' management team and contribute both strategically and operatively. You work closely with the principals to drive the schools' development work during a time marked by reforms and changed requirements. The assignment includes, among other things: · Systematic quality work · Staff responsibility · Drive and follow up implementation of reforms · Administrative tasks related to operations · Systematic workplace environment work Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We are looking for someone who is a relational and engaged leader with the ability to create trust and good collaborations. You are driven by school development and have a genuine interest in making a difference for students. We see that you: · Have teacher training (principal training is an asset) · Have experience leading or coordinating development work, preferably in a school environment · Are well versed in the school's governing documents · Have a clear student focus and see the whole picture of operations · Are solution-focused, structured, and can work independently · Can prioritize and create focus when many initiatives are underway simultaneously · Can balance long-term development with the day-to-day operations · Have good analytical ability. · Are a positive and communicative person who contributes to a good work climate.
