JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a manager and leader in Bjuv Municipality, you work to realize Bjuv Municipality's vision, goals, employer policy, and employee engagement so that they permeate your entire organization. The most important resource and our greatest asset for succeeding in our mission is you and your employees. In close collaboration with the principal and one additional assistant principal, you are an active part of the school's management organization. With this assignment comes responsibility for operations, finances, and personnel. Together with the other school leaders, you plan, develop, and analyze the school's operations against set goals. You deliver results and drive the school's systematic quality work. You participate in developing a sustainable budget and, together with others in school leadership, are responsible for following it. Being proactive and involved in student welfare work is an important part of your assignment. You run a sustainable operation with staff development and have occupational health and safety responsibility according to task distribution. In your role, you lead the work with a shared operational vision for the entire school unit with focus on students' knowledge development, safety, and study environment. As a manager, you work to strengthen the team-based organization with increased shared leadership with focus on mission, responsibility, and authority. Your role also includes collaboration with the school's support functions, union representatives, and other partners. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with higher education with a pedagogical focus. We would like to see a background as a special education teacher. Experience in an assistant principal role or completion of principal training is meritorious. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You see the bigger picture and consider the broader perspective by prioritizing the entire operation's best interests in your actions and decisions. You are straightforward and clear in your communication and have the courage to move from words to action when it comes to demanding and inspiring change and improvement. You are driven by goal-oriented and results-focused thinking in prioritization, planning, and action. In your role as a school leader, you motivate and provide others with the authority and resources needed to reach common goals. You build effective teams where you value differences and have the ability to create participation and engagement around the task of developing an operation. You are proactive and development-oriented, while also being responsive, having good collaboration skills and an unpretentious approach. Employment Type: Permanent position.
