Assistant Principal at Fridhemsskolan As assistant principal, you are an important part of the school's leadership and work closely with the principal in pedagogical and organizational work. Together we drive the development of teaching, student well-being, and working environment. Fridhemsskolan is a smaller grades 7–9 school with approximately 185 students where we work closely together and where relationships, safety, and participation are central. We strive to create an inclusive learning environment where every student is given the best possible conditions to succeed. Your responsibilities As assistant principal you will: Lead and support pedagogical development work together with the principal Work actively with academic conduct, norms, and values throughout the organization Manage aspects of staff leadership and working environment efforts Collaborate with student well-being, guardians, and external partners Contribute to and develop the school's systematic quality work Qualifications We are looking for you who: Have good leadership skills and are clear, confident, and relationship-building Are organized, solution-focused, and have good collaboration skills Have a pedagogical university degree (merit-enhancing) Preferably have experience in leadership, for example as a work team leader or similar Have started a principal's education (merit-enhancing) We offer Close and engaged collaboration in the school's management group Opportunity to influence and develop the organization A workplace where safety, community, and student focus are central Support in your leadership and opportunity for professional development Other information This position is a fixed-term employment during the school year 2026/2027, with start date 20260803 or by agreement.
