Within Psychosis Care Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research on psychotic disorders. We work in multiprofessional teams to ensure the best possible care and treatment for our patients. We are now recruiting an Assistant Unit Manager for Department 3. About Department 3 We are centrally located at the St. Göran Hospital complex. The department has 14 care beds for patients aged 18 and above, including one bed reserved for voluntary admission. Patient involvement, good cooperation with family members and healthcare colleagues, high accessibility, and a well-functioning care chain are several central cornerstones on which our operations are based. About the Position The unit's management structure currently consists of a unit manager and a medically responsible physician (MLA). We are now seeking an Assistant Unit Manager who will be a close collaboration partner to the unit manager and a true sounding board for both operational and personnel matters. In this role, you will have the closest contact with staff members. You participate in the hiring process and introduce new employees in consultation with the unit manager, and you have a coordinating function in the department. A particular focus of this position is to continue developing care quality and strengthening patient safety together with the unit manager. You are expected to lead and develop work in important areas that currently need more attention and will also contribute to operations development together with the unit manager, and be an active participant in inspiring and developing the work team. You are expected to work clinically to some extent in your position. You assist the unit manager with tasks such as staffing, finances, education, and development, and serve as a support and sounding board for personnel matters. Our Expectations of You You are a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatric care and work experience from psychiatry. It is advantageous if you have work experience from psychosis care.
