You are warmly welcome to Lasarettet in Enköping! Our Operations Medical Department 2 is part of the Medical Operations Area at Lasarettet in Enköping. Our mission is to care for patients with diagnoses within the internal medicine field with a main focus on stroke, and we have 24 care beds. Most of our patients are admitted through the emergency department, and we work closely with Akademiska Hospital to maintain a functioning flow. The Medical Operations Area also consists of Medical Department 1 with diagnoses within the internal medicine field with a main focus on cardiology, medical outpatient clinic, rehabilitation unit, hospital-affiliated home care services, and intermediate care. Your Assignment We are now expanding with an additional assistant department head, and we are looking for you who want to be involved and develop operations that focus on both staff and patients. You work 50% clinically in your profession and 50% in your management assignment. In this role, you work in close collaboration with the department head and assistant department head as well as with other department heads and assistant department heads, departmental staffing assistants, patient safety coordinators, quality coordinators, and physicians within the Medical Operations Area. As an assistant head of the department, you supervise both nursing assistants and registered nurses. Together with the other assistant department head, you drive development within the department in collaboration with the department head and the department's key personnel, colleagues, and in accordance with the operations' overall objectives. In addition to personnel responsibility, you are involved in patient flows, work environment issues, staffing matters, recruitment, reflection sessions, and department meetings. You lead and inspire your employees and provide them with the conditions for participation and taking responsibility. You report directly to me as department head and cover for me during absences. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a genuine interest in leadership. It is an asset if you have previously worked in a management position, or alternatively have clear leadership qualities. You have several years of experience in clinical work as a registered nurse and are expected to be a support for the staff and help them prioritize and plan daily work. It is important that you are organized, communicative, and have the ability to make and implement decisions that are well-grounded in the operations. As a person, I am looking for you who are unpretentious, willing to collaborate, and take responsibility. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability and previous experience. We Offer We offer a time-limited appointment as assistant department head and a permanent employment within your basic profession. The positions are 100% and based daytime Monday-Friday, and the working time is divided equally between management assignment and clinical work in patient care. Salary and start date by agreement.
