Child and Adolescent Psychiatry's outpatient care (BUP) provides specialized psychiatric care to children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. The operation is conducted in close cooperation with the child, family, and other important stakeholders, with a focus on evidence-based care, quality, collaboration, and development. The clinic serves the entire county and has staff with broad expertise across multiple professions. The clinic is located in modern facilities in central Örebro and offers a stimulating work environment with high engagement, good teamwork, and an inclusive workplace culture. To strengthen the operation, a new management structure is being introduced with a unit manager and two assistant unit managers, each responsible for their own operational area—medical and psychological, respectively. We are now seeking two committed assistant unit managers who, together with the unit manager, will lead and develop the operation.
Job Responsibilities
As an assistant unit manager, you have a central role in the daily management of the operation with a focus on accessible and developmental leadership. You combine the management role with clinical work and are a visible leader in daily operations who supports staff and creates good conditions for the operation's development. You are responsible for leading and distributing daily work based on the operation's goals, vision, and values. Through present leadership, you create participation, engagement, and a good work climate where staff competence is utilized and developed. The assistant unit manager role includes responsibility for staffing and scheduling, introduction of new staff, monitoring of absences, and participation in recruitment. You are part of the unit's management team, where close collaboration between the unit's assistant unit managers and unit manager ensures a well-functioning operation. You work to ensure that care is provided with the patient's best interests in focus and that guidelines and procedures are followed. You contribute to systematic improvement work and work toward knowledge-based care with high quality and patient safety. In this role, you also stimulate research, development, and learning within the operation. The position includes responsibility for daily work environment efforts and for creating a safe, sustainable, and developmental workplace. Clinical work comprising at least 20 percent of working time is included in the position. The extent may vary throughout the year based on operational needs.

Requirements: Licensed psychologist, licensed psychotherapist, licensed nurse, licensed healthcare and social welfare counselor, or counselor
Meritorious:
- Experience working as a manager or in a leadership role
- Experience working within child psychiatry
- Specialist nurse education, specialist psychology education, or other relevant further education for the operation. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
