Your responsibilities
You investigate, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL). With the individual's needs in focus, you work from a holistic perspective and collaborate with relatives, care providers, and other stakeholders connected to the individual's needs. At the Elderly Unit, you work with individuals who live at home or in specialized housing. Here you work broadly with home care services to ensure that interventions are carried out according to decisions. You also collaborate with other units within social services and handle incoming reports of concern from the public.
Your qualifications
We're looking for someone with a degree in social work or another relevant bachelor's degree, such as behavioral science. Previous experience with public administration, case management, and documentation according to SoL is an advantage. We use the documentation system Pulsen Combine, so experience with this or similar systems is also an advantage. If you also have education in social law, we see that as a benefit. Since driving is part of the position, a Class B driver's license for manual transmission is required.
To thrive in the role, it's important that you are courageous, flexible, and comfortable working at a fast pace. You're experienced in handling rapid processes and feel comfortable working on multiple tasks in parallel. The role requires that you can quickly adapt and prioritize your work based on operational needs.

We are currently recruiting for three temporary positions. One temporary position runs until May 27, 2027, one until February 27, 2027, and one starting in October 2026 with a duration of one year.
Before you can be employed, we conduct a background check and you need to show a valid criminal record certificate from the police.
During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or identity certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must provide proof of a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
