WORK TASKS As a case officer, you have a holistic perspective and base your work on the individual's needs. The work includes, among other things, receiving applications from the individual, investigating, making decisions and documenting. In your daily work, you have contact with the individual in the form of home visits, phone calls and you collaborate with hospital care and other staff and relatives. We investigate according to the IBIC model, Individual's Needs in Focus. You work independently but also in close collaboration with colleagues, other professions and operations both internally and externally. Tierp Municipality is large in area and you need to be able to travel on service during the day. If you enjoy varied, interesting and stimulating tasks that require the ability to combine knowledge with understanding of the big picture, then this is the job for you! The unit has 7 social services case officers, 2 discharge case officers, 5 case officers for disability services and special living arrangements, as well as a unit manager and soon the unit will also be expanded with a group leader. QUALIFICATIONS We would like you to be educated as a social worker, or have completed a social care program. You must have a genuine interest in working with people in need of support and help and be part of their development. You should have good documentation skills and you should be able to conduct conversations in a motivating and solution-focused manner. It is meritorious if you have experience with public authority work, good knowledge of social law. A driver's license is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you fit into our team. Start date by agreement.
