Job Responsibilities As an administrative officer in social psychiatry, you work with government authority according to the Social Services Act. You investigate applications, make decisions, and follow up on approved interventions. The work involves meeting people with disabilities and their relatives or representatives, and making individual assessments based on the person's needs, applicable legislation, and legal practice. The assignment may include interventions such as housing support, contact persons, and various forms of housing. In the role, you have many contact points and collaborate with, among others, relatives, guardians and administrators, service providers, health and medical care, schools, other authorities, and internal collaboration partners. You are responsible for ensuring that the processing is legally sound, clear, and characterized by professional conduct. We work in the LifeCare system and investigate according to IBIC, the individual's needs at the center. About the Workplace The Social Administration's main task is to offer individually adapted support and services within elderly care, disabilities, children and families, adults, and financial assistance. We are present for residents throughout all stages of life. The Unit for the Elderly and People with Disabilities consists of approximately 25 employees distributed across different areas. Here, administrative officers work within elderly care, LSS, and social psychiatry. The unit also has housing coordinators and methodological support staff. The unit is led by a unit manager and two group managers. Administrative Officer, Social Psychiatry is a separate work group consisting of five officers. The group is led by a group manager who also supervises LSS officers, where six officers work. Once you are introduced and independent in your work, there are opportunities to work from home approximately two days per week. What We're Looking For in You To succeed in the role, you have: a degree in social work or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written basic computer skills It is meriting if you have: experience with government authority and investigation methods according to IBIC knowledge of the LifeCare system B driver's license Personal Qualities We're Looking For Work as an administrative officer is varied and requires you to be able to plan, structure, and prioritize your work.
