Individual and Family Services in Lekeberg Municipality consists of a total of 24 employees distributed across the children and family unit, adult unit including case handling, and open care. The organization is led by an IFO manager and three team leaders: one for the children and family unit, one for open care for both children and adults, and one for the adult unit. 1 position(s). We are now seeking a case worker for a temporary position of approximately one year, as some of our employees are on parental leave. As a case worker, you work according to the Individual's Needs in Focus (IBIC) model, with an emphasis on seeing the whole person and starting from each individual's conditions, needs, and goals. Together with the individual and, when needed, relatives and other professionals, you work to create conditions for as independent, secure, and meaningful a life as possible. With us, you have the opportunity to work broadly within the areas included in the case worker role, which provides a varied and developing workday. You are responsible for public authority functions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). Your work includes investigating and assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on granted services. An important part of the assignment is collaboration with colleagues, other activities, and external actors to create sustainable overall solutions for the individual. You document and follow up on your work and ensure that the case handling maintains high quality and is conducted in a legally secure manner. Within individual and family services, we work from a holistic perspective where collaboration, participation, and shared responsibility for the activities are central. We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to social work, are solution-oriented, and curious about development and change work. You enjoy working both independently and together with others and have the ability to create good relationships with both individuals and colleagues and cooperation partners. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing as well as good computer skills. You need to have a Class B driver's license and be able to drive a car as part of your work. We would like to see that you have experience with public authority functions within SoL and/or LSS. It is advantageous if you have experience working according to IBIC and with the Lifecare management system. As a person, you are committed and have a professional and respectful demeanor. You find it easy to create good relationships and communicate clearly with both individuals and colleagues and cooperation partners. You work independently and in a structured manner and have good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. The work requires that you are flexible, confident in making decisions, and can adapt when conditions change. You take responsibility for your work tasks and drive processes forward in a goal-oriented manner. Since the position involves collaboration with other authorities, activities, and actors, you also need to have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. An extract from the criminal records register as well as diploma or other documentation proving relevant education must be presented in connection with employment.
