Support Services Coordinator – LSS, Children and Youth The Social Services Administration seeks a support services coordinator within LSS, children and youth. 1 position: Permanent, full-time. Available immediately or by agreement. About the Workplace The LSS Children and Youth Unit is responsible for investigating and making decisions about services according to LSS and SoL. The unit consists of approximately 8 employees and is centrally located in Huddinge Center. The goal is lawful authority operations with good service and high quality. Our workplace is characterized by good collaboration and an open climate where we see each other as important resources for development and achieving our goals. The unit is marked by commitment, drive, and good cohesion. We value each other's knowledge and strive jointly to continuously develop our work to ensure lawful authority operations with good service where the individual's needs are central. In the LSS Children and Youth work group, six employees investigate the need for services according to LSS and SoL. The target group is all children and young adults 0–20 years old (until high school is completed) with disabilities, and this includes children and young adults who do not have LSS eligibility but still have a disability. The work is independent and you have your own delegation for several services. Case review meetings are held weekly for support in the work. As support in authority operations, colleagues, managers, and a business lawyer are close in daily work. You are expected to participate in the unit's development work, which includes: Development of visual communication, establishment of new procedures, competency development to identify violence against young people, develop work around risk factors among young people drawn into crime. Qualifications For this position, you must have a degree in social work or other relevant academic education that the employer deems appropriate. You have good computer skills. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. You are organized and clear, with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work. Meritorious: Experience working as an LSS coordinator, experience with visual communication, experience documenting in the Lifecare management system, and experience with the investigation methodology IBIC. To be successful in this position, you must be stable and confident in yourself, contribute to a good collaborative climate, and be empathetic and clear in meetings with service users.
