JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Social Services Unit in Säters Municipality is looking for its next case officer who will handle matters according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The case officer will primarily work toward elderly care services and be responsible for a designated geographic area. The work involves investigating, following up, and assessing needs. To be able to write investigations and make decisions, the position also includes gathering information by maintaining contact via phone, participating in SIP meetings, planning meetings, home visits, or office meetings. Therefore, a class B driver's license is required. Our collaboration partners include the individual, relatives/next of kin, the municipality's service providers, the municipal healthcare services, and Region Dalarna. The assistance team currently consists of five case officers, and you could become the sixth. A unit manager is responsible for day-to-day management. Within the group, services are also assessed for sociopsychiatric matters. QUALIFICATIONS A degree in social work is required, as is a class B driver's license. It is advantageous if you have experience investigating according to IBIC and assessing assistance within elderly care services. Additional experience we value is if you have previously worked in the case management system Combine. You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy and respect. You are unpretentious. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions. You have the ability to write clearly and in a well-structured manner, and you have the ability to adapt your texts according to the intended target audience. Employment Type: Permanent position.
