Laboratory Medicine, a regional organization, operates in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå. Clinical Chemistry, where you will be placed, is one of five laboratory specialties. Of Clinical Chemistry's approximately 135 employees, 12 are based in Lycksele. The operations are open 24/7 and are an integrated part of Lycksele Hospital, which functions as an acute care hospital. At the Lycksele laboratory, clinical chemical analyses are performed in the areas of general chemistry, hematology, and coagulation, most of which are performed on automated multi-analyzers. The facility also includes phlebotomy services, emergency blood group serology, and some microbiological analyses. The laboratory is accredited and has recently relocated to newly built premises. We are now seeking biomedical analysts or medical biologists for our team in Lycksele! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a biomedical analyst/medical biologist with us, you contribute with knowledge and dedication that makes people feel secure. You will work with maintenance, analysis, and validation of patient samples on advanced analytical instruments as well as with manual methods and sample sorting. Phlebotomy work may be part of your responsibilities. You will work independently while also being an important part of the team.
