Clinical Chemistry provides all hospitals in the region as well as primary care with qualified laboratory services of high quality. Clinical Chemistry Primary Diagnostics 1 is a clinical diagnostic laboratory with 24-hour operations within the field of Clinical Chemistry. The laboratory has customer contacts within Sahlgrenska University Hospital as well as throughout Västra Götaland. The Emergency Laboratory Sahlgrenska is located at Sahlgrenska Hospital and has approximately 50 employees. What Do We Offer You? We offer a wide range of varied work tasks within several areas, such as chemistry, hematology, and coagulation, among others. We also work to enable you to deepen your knowledge within one or more subject areas. If you are a newly graduated biomedical analyst, you will participate in the Clinical Foundation Year for Biomedical Analysts. We offer you individual schedule planning (ISP-schedule). When you work on-call during weekdays and weekends, you will also receive a salary supplement to your base salary. Work Tasks As a biomedical analyst, you perform laboratory tasks and routines that are part of sample handling, analysis, and result reporting. You take responsibility and drive your work tasks toward goals independently, and can also adapt and reprioritize when needed. About You We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst with a specialization in laboratory science. If you have experience working in a clinical chemistry laboratory, that is a merit. Being flexible and able to collaborate with different people are important qualities when working as a team and in smaller groups during both day shifts and on-call. We have frequent contact within the unit and with other units within and outside the hospital, which means you need to be good at collaboration and clear in your communication. As an employee, you are committed and positive toward improvement work and deepening your knowledge. You have respectful and good conduct and actively contribute to a good work environment and good teamwork climate. The work requires that you be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
