About the Operation Laboratory Medicine Västernorrland is a regional unit for laboratory operations within Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine. The operation in Sundsvall has approximately 115 employees. We are now seeking two biomedical analysts for Transfusion Medicine in Sundsvall. These positions are temporary, full-time, with start date by agreement until March 31, 2027. Possibility for extension exists. Work Tasks As a biomedical analyst, you will work with: Analysis determination and instrument handling Manual laboratory work Assessment and release of analyses Approval of new blood donors for donation Perform blood donation procedures Recall blood donors Preparation of blood products Participation in improvement and development work Work may occur at inconvenient times.
