Vårdcentralen Finspång is part of Primärvårdscentrum within Region Östergötland and has been located in modern facilities at Vårdcentrum Finspång since 2020. Here you will find an on-call center, pharmacy, rehabilitation, nursing ward, LAH, and the municipality's short-term housing, specialist clinics for pediatric and cardiac care, which enables close collaboration.
As of the turn of the year 2024–2025, Vårdcentralen Finspång and Vårdcentralen Skärblacka formed a joint operational area to create a more robust organization for future needs. Together, the operations have approximately 27,000 registered patients and around 130 employees. Included in Vårdcentralen Finspång is also a branch in Rejmyre.

Job Description
At Vårdcentralen Finspång, we currently have six biomedical analysts, and we are now seeking an additional colleague to strengthen our laboratory operations. Vårdcentralen has its own accredited laboratory where we perform patient-related analyses and routine analyses daily.
As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work with both capillary and venous blood sampling, glucose tolerance tests, therapeutic phlebotomy, pediatric blood sampling, analysis of chemistry (including blood gases), hematology and coagulation, as well as handling of specimen submissions from our care colleagues within the region and municipality.
You will become part of a well-functioning team and have close collaboration with primarily the primary care center's nursing assistants and other professionals at the center.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we meet patients with different linguistic and cultural backgrounds, multilingualism is an asset. Experience from working in primary care is an asset.
As a person, you are social, service-oriented, and flexible. You have a calm and professional demeanor even during periods of high work tempo, work in an organized manner and follow applicable guidelines and procedures. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a good ability to prioritize and organize your work in an efficient and patient-safe manner.
We value very good collaboration skills and see that you enjoy working both in close cooperation with colleagues within your own profession and together with other professionals at the primary care center. Great importance is placed on personal suitability in filling this position.
Application and Employment
The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) with a weekly working time of 40 hours. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday–Friday. Your primary placement will be at Vårdcentralen Finspång, but work at Vårdcentralen Skärblacka may occur.
Before employment in patient-related work within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to complete a health declaration.
