Auto Body Technician (Panel Beater)

As a panel beater at Lappens bilplåt, you will be responsible for body repairs, straightening, and assembly of sheet metal components. Job Responsibilities – Repair, Straightening, and Assembly Straighten and repair body parts using correct tools and techniques Perform welding, riveting, and assembly and disassembly of sheet metal parts Conduct damage assessments together with damage adjusters Prepare parts for painting and collaborate with the paint shop for optimal results Document completed work in the shop management system and report spare parts needs Requirements & Desired Qualifications Trade education or documented experience as a panel beater in the automotive industry Good knowledge of straightening and repair methods for vehicle bodies and welding experience Experience with straightening tools, aluminum and steel repairs is an advantage Understanding of manufacturer repair instructions and vehicle construction Thorough, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented B-class driver's license is an advantage Swedish language skills (spoken and written) required Experience with Cabas is a plus Personal Qualities Structured and responsible with good problem-solving abilities Flexible and service-oriented Employment Type & Application This is a permanent position with probation period by agreement, full-time.
