About the Job
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing service and helping others. Bärgningstjänsten Sverige AB is now seeking one (1) recovery driver for our Recovery Team in Gothenburg. The position is 100% full-time, with start date by agreement.
Your Responsibilities
Your main tasks will be performing vehicle recovery and roadside assistance work, including recovering vehicles from accident scenes to the workshop, driving TMA-equipped vehicles, and performing basic repairs such as tire changes, tire repairs, and jump-starts at customer locations. We also work with field repairs and minor service tasks for heavy vehicles.
You will work according to a fixed two-week schedule, which means service on all days of the week, including weekends, with days off. On-call duty occurs and follows a predetermined work schedule. There is also the possibility of working a week-to-week schedule.
We provide basic training in recovery techniques if you lack prior experience.
Are You the Right Fit?
You have valid YKB certification and at least a C driver's license, with some years of experience driving heavy vehicles. CE driver's license, D driver's license, experience with vehicle recovery, machine transport, or mechanical experience are merits. Experience with TMA vehicle driving and APV 1.1-1.3 as well as 2.1 and 2.2 are merits (including passed certification test from Trafikverket).
Your language skills in Swedish and English must be good. You will be in contact with many stakeholders and colleagues, which is why language and communication are important. To achieve good results, it is important that you are service-oriented, good at collaboration and communication with others. Good physical fitness and the ability to handle stressful situations are prerequisites for managing this position. We use digital order and assignment systems, so basic computer and phone skills are also important.
