Järfälla Library consists of libraries in Jakobsberg, Bas Barkarby, Kallhäll, and Viksjö. The position as library information specialist is primarily based at Jakobsberg Library, with work at other libraries as needed. Järfälla's libraries operate with a process-oriented organization focused on program activities, communication & customer service, media, digitalization, innovation, and MIK. We always strive to keep the user in focus and frequently use service design as a method. Järfälla Municipality has been a Swedish-speaking administrative area since 2018. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a library information specialist to join the communication & customer service process team. You will work in close collaboration with the team's communication coordinator. The role includes work with both text and graphic production primarily for digital formats. • You maintain and create content on the library's web platform in Arena Nova • You create content for posters and digital information displays at all libraries • You staff the libraries according to schedule, including evenings and weekends In public-facing work, you thrive in an eventful and socially intensive environment and enjoy meeting visitors of all ages. QUALIFICATIONS • Current higher education degree in communication or degree in library and information science or equivalent education • Experience working with web publishing • Experience working with InDesign and Photoshop • Communicative and well-organized • Previous library work is a merit • Experience with the Arena Nova library platform is a merit.
