About Campus Södermalm Do you want to be part of a school library that inspires students and strengthens learning? AcadeMedia is now looking for a temporary librarian for Campus Södermalm. Campus Södermalm has 2200 students from the high schools Klara Södra, LBS Kreativa Gymnasiet Södra, ProCivitas Stockholm, and Internationella Hotell- och Restaurangskolan. Campus Södermalm is located in a newly renovated school building at Tullgårdsgatan 12 in central Stockholm. About the Position As a librarian, you have overall responsibility for the library and work closely with the rest of the staff. You have colleagues within AcadeMedia and the librarian at our other high school campus "Campus Vasastan" who you can turn to for support. You work to create a safe and inclusive environment. You will be responsible for initiating and completing projects, teaching students about information literacy and preparing for their thesis work. You manage procurement, cataloging, and weeding of materials, and you are responsible for ensuring that staff at the schools have knowledge and materials to loan out educational resources. You provide some support with educational resource management, though primary responsibility lies with the individual schools. About You You have strong knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would like to see that you have experience with reading promotion work among young people and experience in teaching information literacy with a focus on source criticism. You have good knowledge of young adult literature and current reading trends. You are responsive, organized, self-driven, and have a strong ability to build relationships. It is a requirement that you have a degree in library and information science or another relevant academic degree. Merits You have high digital competence and a strong interest in children's and young adult literature. Experience working as a librarian in a school library or in educational activities Experience working in library systems, preferably with Quria The position is a temporary appointment at 87% and starts 2026-10-01 or by agreement.
