About the Operation Falun Hospital Library is a modern hospital library within healthcare. Our operation has a clear focus on supporting healthcare staff with relevant professional literature, information, and knowledge support. Job Responsibilities We are looking for a librarian who wants to have a central role in work with the library's systems, cataloging, and waiting room literature. In this role, you will have special responsibility for three important areas of the operation: operations-oriented system management, cataloging of the library's media, and waiting room literature. System Management You are responsible for the operations-oriented management of the library's systems. You work to ensure that the systems function appropriately in daily operations and contribute to developing and improving work methods and routines. Cataloging You are responsible for cataloging the library's media. You work carefully and systematically to ensure that the library's collection is correctly registered, searchable, and accessible to users. Waiting Room Literature You are responsible for the library's waiting room literature. This involves planning and organizing a literature collection for department waiting rooms and other locations outside the library. General Library Work As a librarian, you are also expected to participate in desk services and other joint tasks that are part of the library's daily operations. Qualifications We are looking for you who are organized, thorough, and self-directed, and who feel comfortable taking responsibility for your own areas of operation. You have an interest in library systems and cataloging and see opportunities to develop both work methods and operations. At the same time, you are someone who values collaboration. You have good interpersonal skills, are communicative, and easily build good relationships with both colleagues and users.
