BI Developer for Sussa Data and Analytics

We are seeking two experienced developers responsible for management and further development of Sussa Data and Analytics, a new virtual collaboration organization tasked with managing and developing a shared data warehouse for nine regions. Sussa Data and Analytics is part of Sussa Collaboration, a collaboration organization where nine regions work together to help Swedish healthcare achieve the goals outlined in the government's e-health vision for 2025. The collaboration between the nine regions is unique, and work is currently underway to develop and implement a new, shared healthcare information system. To capitalize on the opportunity to jointly develop an output capability, the regions within Sussa Collaboration have developed a platform and solution—a data warehouse—to manage information from the healthcare information system. Work is still ongoing, and the solution will be deployed as the regions bring the healthcare information system into production. Sussa Data and Analytics is the management and delivery organization that will manage and further develop the shared platform and solution, which each region will subsequently deploy in its regional environment. This role will be staffed within Sussa Data and Analytics, and recruitment will therefore be conducted among candidates from all nine Sussa regions. You will be employed by the region but work with a focus on Sussa Data and Analytics. Responsibilities As a developer within Sussa Data and Analytics, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring implementations occur according to plan in the Sussa data warehouse, as well as conducting testing and performance optimization. You will also maintain documentation and metadata for the solution and be responsible for proper source code management. Your role will be broad, and you will participate in testing and troubleshooting work, management and support, as well as handover, training, and support to regional BI teams. This is a position where you will work proactively and forward-thinking in a unique collaboration with colleagues within Sussa and the nine regions. You will represent nine regions through our shared entity Sussa Data and Analytics in forums with regional representatives and stakeholders, as well as related entities such as Sussa Care Support. Main responsibilities: Development and management of BI solutions, as well as data integration and quality assurance. Collaboration and requirements management—you will work with business analysts, data engineers, and other developers to understand needs and requirements. This position includes staying current with new technologies and practices in the BI field. Propose and implement improvements to streamline data and analytics work. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you need the ability to collaborate well with others. We also expect you to be able to lead and motivate others, as well as coordinate teams and foster engagement. You have the ability to work with complex issues, analyze, and solve complicated problems. You should also be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. We expect you to be approachable in your interactions and have the ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. We want you to have post-secondary education in areas such as data engineering, computer science, or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent documented work experience. Several years of experience with Microsoft's BI platform and experience developing BI solutions and data modeling according to Kimball methodology, solid knowledge of SQL. We also want you to have experience with data warehouse development and experience working with tabular models. We also expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have experience managing BI solutions, experience with performance optimization, and experience working with security issues.
