About the Position As a concrete worker/caster, you will perform work tasks within formwork, reinforcement, casting, and finishing. The work is carried out both on construction sites and, in some cases, in production facilities depending on the assignment. You collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to ensure that work is executed according to drawings, work orders, and applicable quality and safety requirements. Work Tasks Prepare forms and excavations and assemble and secure reinforcement Perform concrete casting, including pumping and hole-drilling work as needed Vibrate, level, and finish surfaces to achieve desired results Perform simple concrete repairs and surface treatments Follow drawings, concrete plans, and work descriptions Follow safety procedures, use protective equipment, and contribute to a safe work environment Keep tools and equipment in good condition and report material needs About You Formal Qualifications We are seeking someone with experience in concrete work, casting work, or construction work. Professional experience from previous assignments or education within construction and civil engineering is a merit. Driver's license category B is often a requirement since the work may involve travel to different work sites. Forklift certification and experience with concrete pumps are merits.
