About the Position We are now seeking experienced formwork builders for our client in precast concrete manufacturing in Västerås. Here you will have the opportunity to work on varying projects where each structure can differ from the next. As a formwork builder, you play an important role in the production of precast concrete elements and work from drawings to build forms with high precision and quality. This is a position for someone with practical experience in the concrete industry, who is accustomed to working meticulously and thrives in a production environment where quality and pace go hand in hand. What the Role Entails As a formwork builder, you work with preparing and building forms for casting concrete elements. Work tasks vary depending on the project and may include: * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions. * Measuring, cutting, building and assembling forms according to drawings. * Ensuring that forms maintain correct dimensions and tolerances. * Installing cast-in details and other components before casting. * Preparing the work area for casting. * Assisting with casting and post-processing of concrete elements. * Working with form removal and preparation for the next production. * Using hand tools and other available tools in production. * Maintaining order and cleanliness on the job site and contributing to a safe work environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone with previous experience in formwork building, concrete production, or other qualified work within construction and civil engineering. To succeed in this role, we would like to see that you: * Have good experience reading and understanding drawings. * Have practical experience with formwork building, concrete or similar work. * Are meticulous and accustomed to working with dimensions and tolerances. * Have good tool proficiency and practical skills. * Can work independently while also being a team player. * Are responsible and quality-conscious. * Enjoy physical work where working positions may vary. * Have the ability to work day shifts and/or shift work depending on production needs. * Have a command of Swedish or English at a level that allows you to understand drawings, instructions and safety regulations.
