As a procurement representative for power system investments, you will have a central role in ensuring that the right investments are made in the transmission network to fulfill Svenska kraftnät's mission and Sweden's energy and climate policy goals. About the Position In your role as procurement representative for power system investments, you will work with planning, evaluation, and follow-up of Svenska kraftnät's power system investments. You will be responsible for strategic investment planning, from needs analysis and prioritization to financial decision and procurement for project activities. Furthermore, the role involves evaluating and justifying investment alternatives based on cost-benefit analyses and other socioeconomic and strategic perspectives. In the role, you will also monitor and support ordered facility projects to ensure efficient management and that the intended benefit targets of the investments are achieved. You will be part of the Investment Planning unit, which consists of approximately 20 employees with senior-level expertise within several areas. At the unit, you will work together with several colleagues in the role of procurement representative for facility investments. Furthermore, there are also functions for civil preparedness for Power System Development, the portfolio function for facility investments, and a team of project managers for business projects and process leaders. The unit has particular responsibility for investment strategy for foreign connections. You also have: Many years of work experience from a coordinating role in planning facility investments on the procurement side in a larger organization within the electricity grid industry at least at regional network level, or many years of experience as a project manager in feasibility study and design phases for corresponding investments fluent knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing and good knowledge of English in speech and writing.
