As an inspection technician, you work inspecting all parts of the electrical grid, such as poles, power lines, cable cabinets and more, while moving through the varied and beautiful landscapes of Sweden and Norway. No two days are the same here, and you get to experience nature for real, far away from office environments and fixed routines. You work from your home and plan your own workdays, which gives you great freedom but also significant responsibility. The role suits you if you thrive working independently, making your own decisions, and taking responsibility for your work. At the same time, it is a physically active job where you spend a lot of time on foot in forests and fields, often alone, which requires both good physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions. Work does not always take place locally—travel and overnight stays in other locations are a natural and recurring part of the position and occur frequently. You should therefore be flexible and comfortable with a mobile work life. Working hours are arranged so that you often work compressed schedules, typically Monday through Thursday, or according to a schedule with seven days of work followed by seven days off, which provides good opportunities for longer continuous time off. We prefer that you have experience from the industry, but it is not a requirement. You will receive the training you need to succeed in the role.
