About the role:
We need to strengthen our team in Sundsvall and are looking for you if you want to develop into a key person in pressure systems. As an inspection engineer, you will be out at various customer sites daily, at both large and small facilities, performing technical inspections and examinations of pressurized equipment. There is a wide variety of objects and customers, ranging from pressure vessels in a school cafeteria to boilers, pipelines, and compressed air tanks at a paper mill. In addition to technical inspections, we help our customers with reviews and documentation in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, such as associated risk assessments, logs for ongoing supervision, etc. We see that you thrive with responsibility as you yourself plan how your work weeks should look to suit both your work and your customers.
Your work location is Sundsvall. Daily travel during work hours and trips with overnight stays occur.
Do you have what it takes?
To thrive in this role, we see that you have a great interest in technology as well as in meeting with customers. In addition to Kiwa providing you with the training you need, we believe you are goal-oriented and enjoy challenges while having your own drive to develop. You enjoy being on the move and have a good ability to independently plan your work.
Requirements:
A degree in engineering, such as operations or marine engineering, or alternatively a technical upper secondary education
Process knowledge or operational technical background in refrigeration, energy, forestry, or process industry
Class B driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
If you are already an inspection engineer with the corresponding authorization, we consider that a merit.
What can you expect from us in return?
Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies in inspections, testing, certification, and technical consulting. This is thanks to our employees who, through their commitment and knowledge, contribute safety and sustainability to our customers and to society. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your expertise will continuously develop when you are part of Kiwa! For us, the team comes before the individual and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!
