Bergstrands – Where the Future of Vocational Education Begins
Since 2006, we have trained thousands of students and adults. With us, you don't just get an education – you get a future. Today we are located in 9 different places from Kalmar in the south to Sundsvall in the north.
Our programs are offered at upper secondary level, adult education, and labor market training – always with the goal of meeting the labor market's needs and giving you the right skills for a secure career.
Do you want to be part of changing the future for adults who want to take the next step in life?
At our adult education facilities in Märsta, Uppsala, and Sundsvall, we train for sought-after professions such as bus driver, goods handler, truck driver, forest transport, truck mechanic, and car mechanic – professions that are crucial for society to function.
Our goal is simple: our students should be ready for work immediately after graduation.
We work according to the Bergstrands Principles – community, innovative thinking, responsibility, joy, and inclusion – to create a work environment where both students and employees thrive and develop.
Choose Bergstrands – where career dreams become reality.
In Sundsvall, we started vocational adult education in mid-May, and in August we will also be launching the car and truck mechanic program, so we are seeking a teacher for the mechanic program.
Adult education follows the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans, where both theory and practical work are included. We are initially seeking 1 educator who is driven to train tomorrow's colleagues.
You should be a calm, positive, and attentive person who easily adapts your teaching method to different learners. We would appreciate if you have a pedagogical education and vocational teaching certification.
Are you already a teacher in the vehicle field but want a change in your daily work, or do you work as a mechanic and want to take the next step in your career to train future colleagues?
Your main task involves both theoretical and practical instruction in adult education. The car mechanic program is mostly conducted at the school, while the truck mechanic program will largely take place in APL (work-based learning) at companies, and you will be responsible for maintaining close contact with our partners regarding assessment of course objectives and grading. This is a permanent position with a start date in mid-August.
