Your role
We are now recruiting a Mine Loader - Charging Operations in Kiruna. Here you will work with tunnel charging, muck charging and special charging. Tunnel charging is part of the salvage cycle in ore preparation, muck charging involves production charging of block caving in mining and production areas, and special charging includes, for example, charging of shafts. For this position, there is internal training in both muck charging and tunnel charging. Work in the explosives magazine may also occur. Charging is a stimulating and exciting workplace where you will be part of a team with dedicated and competent colleagues. Together you will impact the operation and work for the future of the mining and mineral industry.
What you bring to the table
We are looking for someone who is primarily responsible, can work in an organized manner and has strong safety awareness. As a loader, you usually work in pairs and therefore need to be independent, able to take own initiative and have good collaboration skills with others. The work involves close contact with other work groups and therefore it is important that you have good communication skills. You are engaged in your work, can prioritize according to needs and be flexible because the operation's needs can change. In addition to this, you also bring:
Approved high school grades (required)
Category B driver's license for manual transmission (required)
Fluency in Swedish, spoken and written (required)
Experience from underground work and/or experience with explosives is a merit
Blasting certificate is a merit
Category C license or experience driving trucks is a merit
