Main Responsibilities
The standby soldier position is placed within the unit's security squadron, functionally led by K 3's security department. As a standby soldier, you will be part of the garrison's Security Squadron and handle tasks related to protection and security, and when needed, maintain readiness within the garrison. The position involves shift work and irregular working hours, both day and night.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Completed military basic training with passing results
Trained security guard
Driver's license at least class B (manual transmission)
Personal Qualities
Since the tasks are part of our security operations, you must be thorough, reliable, and loyal. It is also important that you have the ability to build good relationships with both colleagues and the public, as you will be the face of the Swedish Armed Forces in carrying out your duties.
You should be stress-tolerant, able to adapt to changing pace, and meet the physical requirements of the position. You must share the Swedish Armed Forces' values, the Swedish Armed Forces' code of conduct, and represent the Swedish Armed Forces' activities in your professional role.
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment Form: Fixed-term employment based on "Agreement on fixed-term employment with continuous service for non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and sailors within the Swedish Armed Forces." Employment period 8 years, with possibility of extension to 12 years.
Degree of Employment: Full-time. Shift work and irregular working hours, both day and night.
Work Location: Karlsborg, travel on duty may occur.
Start Date: By agreement.

Life Regiment Hussars, K 3, has rapid and effective units and extensive experience within the intelligence field. K 3 trains a ranger battalion and an intelligence battalion. The ranger battalion is a highly mobile unit that should be able to be first on site during operations. The intelligence battalion delivers intelligence through the use of advanced technology, personnel on the ground, and unmanned aerial vehicles (RPAS).
