The department is a support function whose deliverables are critical to the entire agency. In this role, you will support the head of Central Functions with planning and implementation of preparedness matters. You are positioned at the Central Functions department head's office. You will work to strengthen and develop the organization's ability to handle peacetime crisis situations and, ultimately, war. The work includes preparedness planning, continuity management, crisis management, training and exercises, as well as development projects. The role involves both internal and external collaboration. The role includes, among other things: independently and together with colleagues plan, implement, and follow up on Central Functions' preparedness planning coordinate internally to ensure that your own department's planning is coordinated with other parts of the Swedish Maritime Administration plan, implement, and evaluate exercises and training for your own operations and in collaboration with other parts of the agency support the development of continuity analyses and continuity plans and follow up on the implementation of measures prepare materials for internal follow-up and to strengthen the organization's capability development participate in the agency's crisis and war management functions when needed contribute to the agency's preparedness work and participate in internal networking meetings participate in the agency's security work including security protection and information security The position is based in Norrköping and travel may occur. We're looking for someone who has: relevant university or college education, preferably in crisis management, risk management, societal security, security protection, social science, or political science. Alternatively, other education combined with experience deemed equivalent. knowledge of preparedness planning within total defense or similar areas excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have: post-graduate education from MCF or the Swedish Defense University experience in preparedness planning within total defense or similar areas current experience in supply preparedness experience in project management or change management.
