The Joint Management Administration consists of the business areas Democracy & Service, Finance & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Community Planning, Rescue Service & Safety, and the staff. The Administration's mission is to lead, support, and coordinate the entire municipal organization on behalf of the Municipal Board. The Rescue Service and Safety business area is characterized by responsibility, cooperation, and strong community engagement. Here we work to create security for residents and businesses through prevention, supervision, education, and emergency response and crisis management. The work is varied and can range from operational rescue operations to planning, risk analyses, and information activities. Within the Civil Protection and Emergency Preparedness unit, matters are handled such as government administration, advice, education including communication, as well as civil emergency preparedness, security, insurance, crisis preparedness, and heightened alert status, among other things. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, you will work together with your colleagues to drive and coordinate emergency preparedness matters in the unit and provide qualified support to the rest of the organization. You will have the opportunity to lead development work within emergency preparedness, which means identifying and analyzing risks and planning how situations should be handled. Your position is primarily focused on meeting the requirements given to municipalities through laws, regulations, and mandates to build a robust war organization in Motala Municipality. The position also includes work with planning, education, and exercises to strengthen the Rescue Service of Motala-Vadstena's capacity during heightened alert status. You are expected to be able to lead and coordinate cross-sectoral preparedness groups in the municipality and serve as an expert both to the elected representatives and activities in the municipality, as well as represent the municipality externally in matters concerning emergency preparedness and cooperate with authorities and other actors. QUALIFICATIONS Formal Competencies: • You have post-secondary education in areas such as crisis management, total defense, or community development. You may also have other education in combination with work experience that the employer deems relevant. • You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. • You must have a B driver's license. • It is meritorious if you have worked in a municipal organization and have experience working with civil emergency preparedness, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation in the field. It is also meritorious if you have experience conducting training and/or exercise activities. • It is meritorious if you have experience working to strengthen and develop the capacity in municipal rescue service during heightened alert status, RUHB.
