About the job At the Bankruptcy Supervision unit, we oversee that bankruptcy administration is conducted correctly and in accordance with applicable law. Your work tasks consist of reviewing final documents in smaller bankruptcies and other documents according to bankruptcy law. You will also prepare incoming documents, handle requests for disclosure of public records, conduct confidentiality reviews of documents, and handle administrative tasks. You apply your legal expertise primarily in preparatory work based on applied guidelines and practice. You have daily contact with our customers and other external parties. You may also prepare legal matters together with our experienced lawyers. Everyone who works at Kronofogden contributes to work against crime. Your work tasks include identifying and preventing attempted criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a legal advisor, you can, for example, collaborate with actors in the bankruptcy field on crime prevention matters. You can also detect and report suspected money laundering. This can result in you helping ensure that Kronofogden is not used as a tool for crime. Work location is Malmö. You adapt to circumstances and changes that occur. Your qualifications: Degree from a law program with at least 270 credits (180 points under the old system). It is desirable that you have completed notary service. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant experience working with insolvency law, or alternatively other relevant experience working at a state authority. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a lawyer. Kronofogden offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means that you follow the state's value foundation. There are also special requirements regarding judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during interviews about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to reference persons. We also obtain information about debts registered with Kronofogden, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. Disclosed information is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current position. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with a register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
