Your Responsibilities As a Legal Preparation Officer, you will perform legal work together with prosecutors. You assist them in their work and participate in preparatory work during criminal investigations and ahead of various prosecutorial decisions. Furthermore, you help monitor certain of the prosecutors' tasks, propose measures, and participate in various collaboration meetings. You may also assist prosecutors at court proceedings. As a Legal Preparation Officer, you also assist prosecutors and case handlers with various administrative matters. Your daily work is event-driven, and cases can arrive quickly, requiring you to make fast decisions and assess whether something is urgent. Your Qualities and Qualifications We are looking for you who have completed or are nearing the end of your legal education. Upon taking up the position as Legal Preparation Officer, you must have completed your law degree. We want you to have a strong interest in criminal and procedural law and the activities conducted by the Prosecutor's Office be thorough, organized, and able to follow the guidelines and procedures in place be proactive and take responsibility, and be able to independently prepare your cases have the ability to prioritize, work persistently and efficiently be stress-resilient as work load can be high at times work well in collaboration, build good working relationships, and have an open approach toward those around you be service-oriented have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing have good communication skills We place great emphasis on personal suitability. About the Position The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. The requirement for this position is that you have a Nordic law degree.
