About the position:
As a Production Planning Specialist at our customer, you work in both new construction and modification projects. You create work orders based on production documentation and plan for efficient production execution within the production facility's capabilities and processes. The completed planning is handed over to production, and when it's time to begin manufacturing, you provide support in the startup phase. Your daily work has several cross-functional interfaces and the work includes, in addition to continuous coordination with production personnel, frequent dialogue with Technical Planners, Production Engineers, as well as with Designers.
In your role as Production Planning Specialist, you have broad knowledge at the interface between design and production. This means you can perform standard planning tasks, but also create production-adapted versions from 3D documentation, assist with test assemblies, and implement various types of improvement initiatives.
We are looking for you who:
Have a few years of experience from manufacturing industry, for example in production, machine machining, production engineering, assembly, or other technical manufacturing operations.
Have post-secondary education in a relevant technical field.
Have good experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and production documentation.
Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and how products are converted from design to finished production.
Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is not necessary, but it is a merit if you have:
Experience in production planning, production engineering, or related work.
Experience with CAD, 3D documentation, or other digital tools used in a production environment.
