Job Description Do you want to work in a key position and help ensure that our operations run smoothly day to day? Apply for the position of Staffing Planner at SiS! This role is part of SiS's new organization with the goal of creating a more equitable and efficient working approach throughout the organization. As a Staffing Planner, you hold overall responsibility for staffing planning for all departments of the institution. You are responsible for operational planning to staff work shifts and coordinate the institution's staffing needs, both short and long term. The role also includes responsibility for overall staffing planning during vacation periods and adjusting schedules when needed, such as for rehabilitation or temporary part-time work. In addition to operational staffing planning, you are also responsible for administering and serving as the institution's expert in the Besched scheduling system. The work involves working independently while maintaining many contact points and collaborations with both staff members, unit managers, and your immediate colleagues, including HR generalists and administrators. You will have the opportunity to influence the agency's development work and staffing and scheduling approaches through a network of both national expert functions and staffing planners at other institutions. In addition to the tasks mentioned above, other HR and administrative duties may occur. As a new employee at SiS, you will complete SiS basic training. SiS also offers many internal trainings to promote your professional development. You must also have: Relevant post-secondary education in administration or HR, or other education combined with work experience that SiS considers equivalent. Good knowledge of and understanding of legislation and regulations regarding working hours. Experience working with staffing and scheduling. Good skills in the Office suite. Class B driver's license.
