As a staffing coordinator in the gynecology section, you will have an important and varied role where you work closely with unit managers, staff members, and other staffing coordinators at the clinic. You are responsible for both short-term and long-term staffing and schedule planning and become an important part of the operation's daily functioning. All about your benefits Job Description About the position In the role of staffing coordinator, you will primarily work with planning and coordinating staffing for nursing care personnel. You will work closely with unit managers and collaborate with a colleague who also has the role of staffing coordinator. Together, you are responsible for planning and addressing the operation's staffing needs and creating structure and continuity in daily work. Clinical work may also occur. You will, among other things: Plan, create, and continuously establish schedules for nursing care personnel and new employees. Handle short-term and long-term staffing needs and replace absent personnel when needed. Reallocate existing personnel based on the operation's needs; work in the hospital's personnel administration system with, among other things, time registration, reporting, and schedule planning. Enter and follow up the operation's staffing needs in relevant planning and booking systems. Staff with temporary personnel when staffing needs change temporarily; plan vacation and handle employees' requests for time off in consultation with the manager. Introduce new employees to scheduling systems and procedures regarding scheduling and absence. Keep personnel files, daily logs, and phone lists updated. Participate in team meetings and, if necessary, provide information on schedule planning and staffing matters. Prepare new hire folders and orientation schedules. Qualifications Trained nursing assistant in the form of upper secondary school's Care and Nursing Program (three years, 2500 points), Care and Nursing Program at Komvux (three terms, minimum 1350 points), or equivalent nursing assistant education. You need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), or be covered by transition provisions for nursing assistants, to be employed with the title nursing assistant. Otherwise, you may be employed in the occupational category healthcare assistant. Personal qualities You are structured, thorough, and responsible; you are flexible and solution-oriented; you enjoy planning and creating structure; you have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different professional groups; you can work independently and take your own initiative; you find it easy to prioritize when conditions change.
