WORK TASKS As a temporary worker in support and care, you can work in special housing or in the user's own home with the individual's needs in focus. You have a supporting role in developing work based on each user's needs for increased participation and independence. The work involves helping/supporting people in their daily lives. This can include care, participating in daily activities and shopping, performing daily chores, helping with personal hygiene, cleaning, leisure activities and social interaction, etc. Documentation in journal systems is part of the work. To be able to work in some operations, you are required to undergo training in medication delegation and transfer techniques. In some positions, solo work may occur. QUALIFICATIONS It is meritorious if you have some care education or experience working with care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you have a positive attitude to your work and that you enjoy meeting people. It is good if you are flexible, responsive and have an easy way of collaborating. Work as a temporary worker requires initiative and that you are responsible. For you to be considered for employment, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good language comprehension. For work in home care, a B driver's license is required. In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means that the salary is set based on applicable collective agreement - general provisions including appendices and the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements placed on the position. Within the Swedish Municipal Workers' Union contract area, the minimum starting salary is 23,638 kr. For employees who have occupational preparatory upper secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 kr. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, therefore it is meritorious if you have knowledge of one or both of these languages.
