WORK TASKS We need substitutes for all our preschools in Pajala central area, Sattajärvi, Korpilombolo, and Tärendö. Working as a substitute means you play an important role by replacing regular staff during absences. Usually you will be booked with short notice and given the opportunity to work at several different workplaces. As a substitute, you are engaged, take initiative, and are interested in carrying out pedagogical work in accordance with the preschool's curriculum. You stimulate children's curiosity, challenge their abilities, and give them influence over their learning. In your work, you collaborate professionally with children, colleagues, and parents. We use Time Care Pool (TCP), which is Pajala Municipality's digital substitute management system. As a substitute, you have a personal calendar where you indicate which days and times you want to work. Your available time is matched against our operations' substitute needs. If we find a match, you receive a request and are then booked; you will receive an SMS with information about your assignment. Your working hours are determined by the operations' needs. QUALIFICATIONS To work as a substitute in preschool, you must have a final diploma from completed upper secondary education. Work experience and/or relevant education is a merit. Your background determines your employment form and position in your work as a substitute. It is a merit if you have a driver's license and regular access to a car. As a person, you are flexible, enjoy a varied lifestyle, and are responsible. You have a positive attitude, can take own initiative, and work well with others. Include in your application: • Final grades from upper secondary school and/or other education • If you have an employer certificate or other documentation proving work experience • 2 references from previous employers Anyone offered employment must, in accordance with the Education Act (2010:800), provide a current extract from the criminal record register (according to the Act 1998:620 on criminal record registers). We also always request references from all applicants who become relevant for interview. You can already order an extract from the criminal record register via polisen.se to speed up the recruitment process. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: max 10 days. In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means the salary is set based on applicable collective agreement - general provisions including appendices and the municipality's salary policy. At new hiring, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the demands placed on the position. Within the Swedish Municipal Workers' Union agreement area, the minimum starting salary is 23,638 kr. For employees with vocational upper secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 kr. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, therefore it is a merit if you have knowledge in one or both of these languages.
