We are now seeking an experienced asphalt paving worker for our Industry division and our paving operations in Södertälje. Your Role as Asphalt Paver/Screed Operator As an asphalt paver with us, you participate in both larger and smaller paving projects. Our clients include Trafikverket, municipalities, private customers, and other operations within Svevia. Since the size and nature of the projects vary, the work tasks are diverse and offer opportunities for professional development. You are part of a work team that together performs paving work according to given orders and applicable regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that vehicles and technical equipment are maintained and in good condition, and you handle materials, measuring equipment, and other technical equipment so that the final product meets the customer's quality requirements. In this role, you will be based in Södertälje. Some of the work is performed during inconvenient hours. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in asphalt paving and who enjoys working outdoors on roads. You have experience as a screed operator. A Class B driver's license is a requirement for the role. To succeed as an asphalt paver, you need to be a team player who shows respect, supports, and cares about your colleagues. We see the work team as central to achieving success and delivering results, which is why your ability to collaborate is extremely important. You keep the customer's needs in focus and work methodically to ensure our product maintains high and consistent quality. At Svevia, we apply individual wage setting for skilled workers and have agreements on annual working hours. This means you primarily work during our season from April to December and are off during January to March, of course provided you have reached your annual working hours during the season. We offer a wellness allowance of 5,000 kr per year. We are happy to share more details about this during an interview.
