Job Description Would you like to help create vital change in a young person's life? We continue to grow and are therefore seeking additional treatment secretaries for our quality team. SiS youth home Johannisberg is an institution in the highest security class beautifully located next to the Kalix River adjacent to the quiet residential area Grytnäs. The institution is in a development and expansion phase where work on increased staffing and security is ongoing. Our target group in Kalix are boys aged 16-21 placed according to the Closed Youth Care Act and the Act on Care of Young People. All work is characterized by our guiding principles: Respect, Care and Clarity. As a new employee with us, you are offered comprehensive introduction, basic training and further training in areas such as security, unauthorized influence, conflict management, first aid and more. As a treatment secretary, you coordinate and are responsible for the young people's treatment. The treatment secretary prepares treatment plans in consultation with the young person, social services and other professionals in the treatment team, for example with a psychologist, nurse and school staff. In the role, you are expected to coordinate and implement planning, documentation and contact with young people as well as with internal and external actors to drive cases towards set care and treatment goals. The treatment secretary works closely with unit staff where the role includes guiding employees in daily work based on the young people's treatment plans. You fulfill an important function in ensuring that young people receive qualitative individually adapted services based on their conditions and needs. The treatment secretary also contributes to the development of the institution's procedures in accordance with the authority's overall guidelines for investigation and treatment. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in treatment work and share the view that our workplace is a place for change. You are a good and trusted role model for our young people with the ability to create engagement and participation among both young people and other internal/external contacts in your work. As a treatment secretary, you are expected to drive and plan your work independently, while much of the work is done in collaboration with others. You should therefore have the ability to collaborate well with other people to create good treatment results. You should also have: A university degree such as social worker or other behavioral science education that SiS deems equivalent and covering at least 180 credits. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and orally. Driver's license category B. Please attach your degree certificate to your application. Degree certificates issued in another country must be translated and validated in Sweden via the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Merits: Experience working with young people. Experience in care and treatment work within social services, psychiatry or correctional services. Experience in investigation work and authority exercise. Place of work is Kalix but work-related travel to our unit in Sävast (Boden) may occur. Start date by agreement.
