About the role: As a treatment worker, you work with young people of varying ages with complex social issues in combination with neurodevelopmental disorders, relationship difficulties, anxiety and trauma. By creating security, structure and a homely environment, you contribute to giving each young person the best conditions for development and hope for the future. The young people may have strong emotional expressions and sometimes outward-directed behavior. Therefore, you need to be a safe and stable adult who can see behind the behavior, build trusting relationships and stay present even when it is most challenging. For us, relationship is the most important tool and you become an important person in the young people's everyday lives. The work is varied and meaningful. You combine daily tasks with relationship-building conversations and individually adapted treatment interventions based on each young person's unique needs. You work independently and take great personal responsibility but are also part of an engaged and unpretentious team. You will also have present leaders and access to both regular supervision and specialist support. The position also includes documentation according to applicable legal requirements as well as close collaboration with social services and other important actors around the young person. Job information: Location: Sölvesborg Work schedule: 24-hour shifts Extent: 85% Employment form: Permanent employment with 6 months' trial period Start: By agreement We are looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education of at least two years in social work (for example social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, social worker, behavioral scientist or other education that the employer deems equivalent) At least one year's experience of similar work with children and young people Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Category B driving license It is advantageous if you have: Training and/or experience in low-arousal approaches and work in threat and violence situations. Educations or courses focused on neurodevelopmental disorders or other knowledge relevant to our target group. Knowledge in structured teaching pedagogy, for example TEACCH, AAC, TAKK or equivalent methods. Basic knowledge in BBIC and/or IBIC. Experience in documentation and work in various record systems. Personal qualities: We believe that you are a calm and secure person who finds it easy to build good relationships with young people. You meet young people with warmth and respect but are also comfortable setting boundaries when needed. You remain calm even in pressured situations and understand that young people's behaviors are often an expression of something else. You have patience and are genuinely interested in supporting young people in their development. You take responsibility for both your own work and the common mission.
