SiS is entering an exciting growth phase. To meet the growing need for treatment and support, we are now expanding our operations and are therefore seeking more treatment pedagogues.

As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and providing support in daily life. With support from your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans.
Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You help maintain security according to our procedures and you contribute to the smooth flow of daily life with, for example, cleaning and cooking. Contact person responsibilities are also one of your tasks. The work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. This is a job for you if you see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

We are now expanding with several positions. Our operations run year-round, 24/7!
Working hours for day shifts are scheduled day - evening and weekends.
Working hours for night shifts are part-time at 95.19% and you work only nights, but both weekdays and weekends.
Qualifications
To succeed in your work, you have a firmly grounded positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS' core values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our clients. As a person, you are confident in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with clients as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and you can handle conflicts in a constructive manner.
You should also have:
A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/educational treatment work or education from university that we consider equivalent
Class B driver's license
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Merits
Experience working with our target group (e.g., substance abuse care, youth care, young women, etc.)
Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work within psychiatry or LSS care
Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., Prison Officer
Education within care and social services

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
The positions require a clean extract from the police's crime and suspicion register.
