We have operations in Fjugesta, three miles west of Örebro, and a satellite unit in Gammelbo, three miles north of Lindesberg. Then the position as a treatment pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and with providing support in daily life. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes, among other things, to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You contribute to maintaining security according to our routines and you participate in ensuring that daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Qualifications To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values, to be a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident in yourself and have an easy time building relationships with young people as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You have an easy time collaborating with others and you can handle conflicts in a constructive way. You must also have: - Diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we assess as equivalent - Category B driving license and access to a car - Good Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious - Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or within LSS care - Experience from client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., Correctional Officer - Security Guard certification - Education in care and support We place great emphasis on personal suitability. *Exceptions to the requirement of at least a two-year post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).
