The Swedish Prison and Probation Service (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for adolescents with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also administers closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and facilities for adults with substance abuse throughout the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. Regardless of where you work in our organization or what position you hold, you help create vital change.
SiS youth home Bergsmansgården receives non-school-age girls. We have operations in Fjugesta, three miles west of Örebro, and a satellite unit in Gammelbo, 3 miles north of Lindesberg. The girls come to us because they have psychosocial problems as well as issues with criminality or drug abuse.
