Job Description
Do you want to help create vital change for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment educator, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and provide support in daily life. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes, among other things, to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You contribute to maintaining security according to our routines and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Contact person responsibilities are also one of your tasks. The work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. This is a job for someone who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in a difficult life situation. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied.

Working hours are according to schedule: day, evening, and weekends.
As a new employee, you will complete SiS basic training for 10 weeks. The training alternates theory with supervised introduction and equips you for the treatment role in SiS operations.
Qualifications
To succeed in your work, you have a firm foundation of positive views of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values, being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and involvement with our young people. As a person, you are confident in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with young people as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You find it easy to work with others and can handle conflicts in a constructive manner.
You must also have:
A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education program at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) focused on social/educational treatment work or education from a university with a behavioral science focus.
Class B driver's license
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious for the position:
Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or in LSS care
Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., as a correctional officer
Security guard training
Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Migration Agency, e.g., officer at the Detention Unit
Education in care and health services

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time position and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
