Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the position as a treatment pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and with providing support in daily life. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You contribute to maintaining safety according to our routines and you help ensure that daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Key worker responsibilities are also one of your tasks. The work may also include serving as a mentor to new employees and interns. This is a job for you who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to schedule: day, evening, and weekends.
As a new employee, you will undergo SiS basic training. In the training, theory is combined with supervised introduction, and the training prepares you for the treatment role in SiS operations.
Qualifications
To succeed in your work, you have a firmly grounded positive view of human nature. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident and have an easy time building relationships with young people as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You work well with others and you can handle conflicts constructively.
You must also have:
Diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we consider equivalent
Category B driving license
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Below are examples of meriting requirements that can be used in recruitment (select what fits your specific recruitment process):
Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, such as work in psychiatry or in social care (LSS)
Experience from client-facing positions in the Correctional Service, such as Correctional Officer
Security Guard training
Experience from client-facing positions at the Migration Agency, such as handler at the Detention Unit
Education in care and health
Experience working with our target group (such as substance abuse care, youth care, young women, etc.)

Employment:
The position is a permanent, full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
