We have operations in Fjugesta, three miles west of Örebro, and a satellite unit in Gammelbo, 3 miles north of Lindesberg. The girls come to us because they have psychosocial difficulties and problems with criminal behavior or substance abuse. Job Description Do you want to help create life-changing transformation for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators. Together, you are responsible for ensuring that the adolescents and clients living with us receive the security, care and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work as well as providing support in daily life. With your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to ensuring treatment plans are carried out. Documentation is an important part of your work, as it contributes to legal certainty, planning and monitoring of our operations. You help ensure security is maintained according to our procedures and you contribute to the smooth running of daily activities including schooling, cleaning, meal preparation and more. Being a contact person is also one of your responsibilities. Your work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS' values, being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident and have an easy time building relationships with adolescents as well as with other team members. You have good communication skills and can stay calm even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. You must also have: Diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational high school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a higher education institution that we assess as equivalent Class B driver's license Good Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious: Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or within LSS care Experience from client-facing positions in the Prison Service, e.g., Prison Officer Experience working with our target group (e.g., substance abuse care, youth care, young girls, etc.) Great weight is placed on personal suitability. *Exceptions to the requirement for at least two years of post-secondary education may be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to 5 ch. 4§ socialtjänstförordningen (2025:468).
