Treatment Assistant/Educator HVB (Full-time, Part-time, Hourly)
We are seeking individuals who want to work full-time (permanent position) as well as part-time and hourly positions as treatment assistants at our HVB Pilkasens gård facility. As a treatment assistant, you will work to support, motivate, and guide young people in their treatment process. You provide them with emotional, social, and practical support. You conduct both structured conversations and provide support in daily life. You encourage and motivate them toward school attendance, internships, summer work, and an active and meaningful everyday life. You work closely with the responsible social services, guardians, schools, healthcare, and other key people in the young person's life. Interventions are guided by the social services mandate, which is defined in care and implementation plans. Your work is carried out in accordance with the facility's established policies and procedures, and you apply evidence-based methods and approaches such as CBT, MI, and Low-Arousal Approach. An important part of the treatment assistant role is documentation, maintaining ongoing journals, summarizing monthly reports, developing implementation plans, etc. Your duties also include participation in the facility's systematic quality work as defined in the management system. This includes risk assessments, incident management, self-inspections, etc. QUALIFICATIONS You have a genuine interest in working with young people. You are attentive and empathetic, with the ability to build honest and trusting relationships. You can demonstrate genuine care while maintaining structure and setting boundaries in a pedagogical manner through a low-arousal approach. You are able to take independent responsibility within given frameworks while working well collaboratively. Flexibility is highly valued. You have higher education with a focus on social work or at least two years of post-secondary education in social work. Knowledge and experience in the following areas are advantageous: CBT, MI, DBT, ART, low-arousal approach, mental health issues, and neurodevelopmental diagnoses. Additionally, interest in horses and horseback riding is meritious. OTHER INFORMATION Positions are available as full-time, part-time, and hourly, and it is important that you specify in your application which type of position you are applying for. Work hours are scheduled during day/evening/weekends (on-call sleeping shifts). We also offer hourly positions with ONLY evening/night shifts with on-call sleeping arrangements.
